Our Story: Harmonizing Health & Community
Music is the Answer was born from the belief that health, like a great song, has the power to unite people from every walk of life.
From the Studio to the Schools
Before he was a trainer, our founder Carlos Diaz {aka Charlie Dee Diaz}was a hit record producer and DJ in the 1980s. He saw firsthand how a powerful beat and a unifying melody could bring a divided room together. He learned that music is a universal language—a force that builds bridges.
In 2023, Carlos and his wife Maria Diaz decided it was time to change the tune for the next generation. After 35 years as a certified nutritionist and personal trainer, Carlos realized that the youth of America were missing the "rhythm" of a healthy life. Maria, after a distinguished 25-year career as a police officer, knew that protecting the community starts with protecting the health of its children.
Why We Started
The 2020 pandemic revealed a major "missing track" in our society: a lack of focus on how nutrition and fitness make us strong enough to fight back. We saw childhood obesity and food insecurity rising and decided we couldn't just stand by. We founded this charity to be a unifying force, using the same energy Carlos used to top the dance charts to now top the charts of community health.
Our Mission: The Remix
We are currently in the "intro" of our mission—hosting events and raising the funds necessary to take our program into schools.

- The Anthem: Working toward our ultimate goal of providing direct, nutritious meals to students in need.
We aren't just talking about the problem; we’re producing the solution. We are gathering people from all backgrounds to agree on one thing: The health of our children is our future.
